  1. In a pressure cooker add onion, tomatoes, cashew nuts,garlic, 2 tsp salt and 1 cup water.wait for 4-5 whistles.
  2. After the whistles,open the pressure cooker and pour all these contents into grinder along with coriander leaves and make a paste.I have add a little amount of chat masala at this time.
  3. At a pan, add cumin seed and cloves and roast them for a while and then add the mixture into it and mix well.Add Ginger paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add peas and cook for 5 minutes. Mean while add coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  5. Add curd and cook for another 3-4 minutes by continue stirring on medium flame.
  6. Add paneer cubes and mix them properly with the mixture and then to it
    add 1/2 cup water and garam masala and cook on low flame by covering it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add 2 tbsp honey and give a good mix.Add kasuri methi and again cook for 1 minute by covering it.
  8. Check salt and switch of the stove. Squeeze lemon on it (this is optional).
  9. Your oil free matar paneer is ready to serve. Garnish it with coriander leaves and cream or curd.
